Greetings from Roger Due.
Both my wife & I enjoy traveling. In 2009 we spent 4 weeks during September in Australia exploring Melbourne, the Great Ocean Road along the coast west from Melbourne, Adelaide, Uluru (Ayers Rock), Kata Tjuta, Alice Springs, the West MacDonnell Range, the Flinders Range, Mildura, and many places along the way. We camped out every night in our own tent and did a lot of hiking and got a lot of kangaroo & emu photos. We enjoyed meeting the friendly Australians and learning about their land and customs. More about this later.
My wife has hiked in the Himalayas and a few years ago went back to hike up to the Mount Everest Base Camp and a little further to over 18,000 feet. This past summer she even hiked the Inca Trail. She is an avid tennis player as well as an enthusiastic hiker around New Mexico.
Whether you want to ‘rough it’ or travel in luxury, there are ways to explore the world without breaking the piggy bank. We will be exploring some of these opportunities that can help you travel to the places you have been dreaming about.
